About The Position

Easterseals Florida is looking for an organized, customer-service focused, and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to provide onsite introductory-level technical support across our Volusia County and Flagler County locations. If you’re an energetic, inquisitive learner eager to grow your IT career, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple sites. What You’ll Do As our IT Support Specialist, you’ll travel between program locations to provide first-level support and keep our teams up and running. Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Six months to one year of related IT/helpdesk experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of networking technologies and ability to troubleshoot routers, switches, and related hardware
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Office 365 experience a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting skills—able to resolve issues independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain tech to non-technical users
  • Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to lift or move up to 40 lbs.
  • An energetic, resourceful and professional individual who will promote a positive, respectful and team-based environment
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)

Responsibilities

  • Set up and install desktops, laptops, printers, and related hardware
  • Configure and install software and drivers, including maintenance and removal during employee separations
  • Troubleshoot basic networking issues, including switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and other equipment
  • Diagnose system problems, analyze information provided, and follow through until issues are resolved
  • Provide helpful, timely technical support—including showing users how to properly utilize equipment
  • Identify recurring issues by reviewing technical reports and service trends
  • Maintain accurate inventory of desktops, laptops, hotspots, and other assigned technology
  • Work with external vendors to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure compliance when users send confidential information, including proper encryption
  • Communicate clearly with non-technical users, providing daily updates as needed to minimize downtime
  • Plan and prioritize tasks using strong organizational and project-management skills
