About The Position

Join our team as an IT Support Specialist! In this role, you’ll provide hands-on technical support across our organization, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You’ll assist with equipment setup, imaging, and deployment, maintain system standards, and collaborate with our technology partners and MSP. This position also includes providing user training, managing equipment purchasing, and participating in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and IT work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of related IT experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft products, including Windows and Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams).
  • Experience with computer hardware, preferably Dell laptops and desktops.
  • Experience with Apple smartphones and tablets.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Document and resolve incidents and requests promptly and courteously, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to users with varying technical knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of the client computing environment.
  • Diagnose and repair computing devices and peripherals, including PCs, printers, software installations, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Perform equipment upgrades, configuration changes, and networking tasks as needed.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Windows, Office 365 Enterprise Suite, Apple iOS, and Active Directory.
  • Offer technical assistance and training for team members on new processes and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and support network and advanced technology issues.
  • Assist and collaborate with third-party MSP and other vendors as needed.
  • Support the development and planning of Resident Technology Services.
  • Partner with the Manager to complete assigned IT projects and related responsibilities.
  • Communicate regularly with the Manager and project stakeholders on project status and progress.
  • Stay current on technology trends through continued learning, networking, and professional development.
  • Collaborate effectively with IT colleagues and other departments on assigned projects.
  • Communicate clearly with end-users, providing updates and instructions throughout issue resolution.
