Job Title: IT Support Associate Position Summary: The IT Support Associate will be the primary point of contact for Renewance employees when they have a technical support issue. Providing excellent support and service on hardware, software and operating system issues is a point of pride for the right candidate. Your primary internal customer base is our Field Services team, who work across the country on renewable energy sites and often need support on hardware and software issues to meet client timelines. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in the employee onboarding and offboarding process through hardware and profile set up, asset tracking, and mobile device management. The pay range for this role is $20.00 -$35.00 per hour, with flexibility for exceptionally qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support experience, ideally supporting employees in field service roles
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and mobile devices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills to ensure timely resolution of trouble tickets and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Ability to balance critical responsibilities with ad hoc process improvement projects
  • Requires ability to sit/stand at desk for extended periods, occasional lift of >25 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Manage ticket queue and contact end users to diagnose, triage, and resolve issues.
  • Provide clear communication and documentation for end users regarding proactive issue resolution, best practices, and standard operating procedures related to IT equipment
  • Hardware & OS deployment, replacement, and support for: Windows 10/11, Lenovo, Dell, Microsoft and iOS mobile devices, printers, and copiers. This work will include essential modifications and emergency repairs/swaps
  • Manage new user setup and configuration, as well as employee offboarding in Active Directory
  • User setup and support for the Office 365 suite as well as common and industry specific applications
  • Basic LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi support and troubleshooting
