About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT Support Associate to support and maintain our technology environment with a strong emphasis on Apple devices, VMware virtualization, Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS), and general IT infrastructure support. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting end-user issues, managing virtual environments, supporting remote access systems, and assisting with network-related tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in both a support and infrastructure capacity.
Nice To Haves
- Strong knowledge of Apple/macOS support in a business environment
- Working experience with VMware (ESXi/vCenter)
- Experience supporting Microsoft RDS / Remote Desktop environments
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing)
- Experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS environments
- Experience with Apple Business Manager and/or MDM solutions (Jamf, Addigy, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory / Group Policy
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration
- Knowledge of firewalls and VPN solutions (Fortinet)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment (up to 40 lbs)
