About The Position

The IT Support Analyst provides first-level technical support to end users by troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. In addition to frontline IT support responsibilities, this role offers opportunities to develop skills in database and systems administration, serving as a backup resource as needed and supporting the long-term growth of the IT function.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities over time.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a demonstrated strong work ethic and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptable and responsive to change in a fast-paced technical environment to meet deadlines and perform effectively under frequent time pressures.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and move as needed to install or troubleshoot equipment.
  • Ability to lift, move, or position IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience in IT support or customer service is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and remote desktop tools preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, and basic networking issues.
  • Respond to and manage help desk tickets, troubleshooting issues and escalating when appropriate.
  • Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Support user account setup, access control, and system permissions.
  • Communicate effectively with users to diagnose issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Assist with basic network and server maintenance under the direction of senior IT staff.
  • Learn and support database administration tasks, including backups, user access, and data integrity.
  • Gain hands-on experience with systems administration activities such as server monitoring and routine maintenance.
  • Support remote access tools and endpoint management as needed.
  • Document IT support procedures, common issues, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Collaborate with IT leadership to develop technical skills and prepare for increased responsibilities.
  • Support process improvements that enhance system reliability and user experience.
