About The Position

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to join our technology team in Austin, Texas. This role requires strong expertise in systems analysis, IT operations, and asset management, along with proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring a solutions-oriented mindset and a commitment to optimizing technology processes across the organization. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Technology.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure management.
Proficiency in the Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365).
Experience with systems analysis and troubleshooting.
Solid understanding of IT operations and best practices.
Asset management expertise for hardware and software inventory.
Familiarity with network protocols and security standards.
Ability to document processes and maintain accurate technical records.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure).
Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
Exposure to virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Understanding of endpoint management solutions.
Background in cybersecurity practices and compliance.
Project management or coordination experience.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain IT systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Conduct systems analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
Oversee IT operations, including working with our IT Managed Service Provider in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and general endpoint management.
Implement and monitor asset management processes for hardware and software inventory.
Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technological initiatives and projects.
Provide technical support and guidance to end-users across the organization.
Utilize and optimize tools within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Microsfot Power Platform, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, etc.).
Assist in planning and executing system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Document IT processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
