About The Position

14383 – IT Software Developer Analyst (onsite) – Palm Beach Gardens, FL Start Date : ASAP Type: Temporary Project Estimated Duration : 12+ months with possible extensions Work Setting: Hybrid. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration. Required: Software development experience (3-5 years) Experience in Java programming with enterprise application development Experience in RESTful API design and development Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS) Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with database technologies (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar) Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Experience with SonarQube (or similar) for reviewing and addressing code quality issues & security vulnerabilities Experience with authentication/authorization patterns (OAuth, JWT) Experience building POCs and technical prototypes Preferred: Experience in utility, energy, or industrial IoT environments Experience with smart grid technologies, AMI systems, or connected devices Experience with utility industry standards and protocols (DNP3, Modbus, etc.) Experience with time-series data management and analytics platforms Experience with Go (Golang) development Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools (GitHub Copilot, or similar) to enhance code generation, debugging, and development velocity Experience with event streaming platforms (Apache Kafka, AWS Kinesis) Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) Experience with API management platforms and service mesh technologies Experience in data engineering or real-time data processing Responsibilities : Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Go and Java Implement secure API gateways and data integration patterns Stitch together diverse system components including IoT devices, data platforms, and enterprise applications Develop middleware solutions for seamless system interoperability Build quick proof-of-concepts (POCs) to validate technical approaches Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Work closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders Why apply? Requirements

  • Software development experience (3-5 years)
  • Experience in Java programming with enterprise application development
  • Experience in RESTful API design and development
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
