About The Position

The company is seeking an IT Service Technician to join their team in a field-based role from Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role involves providing IT support for hardware and software at customer sites on a daily basis.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 1 or more years work experience in an IT support role

• Associates degree in Information Technology

Responsibilities

• 100% Field Service Support - travelling to customer sites to provide IT support for hardware and software on a daily basis
• Installing and servicing various IT equipment within assigned territory of up to 100 mile radius from Fort Wayne, IN
• Overseeing and prioritizing daily support tickets through a computerized system
• Maintaining accurate daily installation and support records, inventory / RMA, time card, expense reports and mileage logs
• Responding to all customer complaints in a timely manner
• Triaging and reporting client issues to the appropriate departments
• Assisting with the training of new employees
