IT Service Desk Intern (Summer)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Service Desk Intern to join our Information Technology team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT support environment. The intern will assist in delivering technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the IT Service Desk operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and common desktop applications.
Nice To Haves
- Previous IT support or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with hardware deployments, including setup, configuration, imaging, and distribution of company devices.
- Support 5S Lean initiatives within IT, including: Organizing and optimizing network accounts Cleaning up and standardizing Office 365 (O365) items Improving documentation and system organization
- Provide Tier 1 IT Support (as capable), including: Responding to basic help desk tickets Troubleshooting Windows 11 issues Assisting users with Office 365 applications Supporting account access and basic device configuration
- Assist with device and user management through Microsoft Intune.
- Document processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Support ongoing IT operational and continuous improvement projects.
