About The Position

Our GFL team is expanding, and we’re looking for an IT Service Delivery Manager (ITSDM) to join us in the Chicagoland area! In this role, you’ll play a vital part in overseeing the delivery of IT services to GFL Operations. The ITSDM will ensure that IT service delivery meets agreed-upon service levels & quality standards. This role involves collaborating with a team of IT professionals, coordinating with other departments, and continually improving processes to enhance overall IT service delivery. Why Join GFL? Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in IT service delivery management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership abilities with proven team management skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in engaging with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management (e.g., ITIL), project management methodologies, and IT infrastructure and software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of environmental services will be considered an asset with frequent travel between US & Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with business leaders to support strategic technology needs and business objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and business, ensuring clear communication of requirements and critical success factors.
  • Facilitate collaboration between business, IT staff, and vendors to drive effective cooperation and timely execution.
  • Monitor IT project progress, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure successful service delivery.
  • Conduct needs analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and align business groups with IT strategies.
  • Facilitate escalations from IT and the Business.
  • Coordinate working sessions for project delivery and troubleshooting.
