  • Security Monitoring and Incident Response Assist in monitoring security alerts and events to identify potential threats
  • Support investigations of security incidents under guidance from senior team members.
  • Learn to analyze phishing emails and malicious files using industry standard tools.
  • Hunt for threats given threat intelligence supplied by senior team members.
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) Support user access reviews to ensure compliance with least privilege principles.
  • Assist in documenting IAM processes and workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for workflow automation to improve efficiency in access provisioning and reviews.
  • Vulnerability Management Assist in running vulnerability scans and tracking remediation efforts.
  • Security Infrastructure Support Help administer and maintain security tools such as EDR, SIEM, and email security gateways.
  • Participate in deploying or updating tools alongside the security team.
  • Policy and Documentation Maintain and develop documentation (procedures, playbooks, etc.) /procedures
  • Learn and support organizational/industry compliance requirements.
  • Security Awareness Assist with internal phishing tests and help promote security best practices among staff.
  • Security Audits Provide support for internal and external audit requests.
  • Interest in cybersecurity and willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of information security principles (CIA triad, least privilege, defense in depth).
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and operating systems (Windows, Linux is a plus).
  • Ability to work at our Milwaukee office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently when needed.
  • Coursework in MIS, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Exposure to security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability scanners) through classes or projects.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS or SOX is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Security+, CySA+) are a bonus but not required.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise infosec tools and operations.
