Pursuing an Associate’s degree in Computer or Networking related or equivalent experience
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Nice To Haves

Experience with Vulnerability scanning tools
Firewall, XDR, and or Antivirus management experience
Basic knowledge of networking and server/endpoint administration
Experience with scripting languages such as bash, Python, and/or YAML
The ability to effectively communicate technical information in a concise way to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to perform basic web-application and network security tests

Responsibilities

Monitor IT environment for security threats
Respond to and investigate security incidents
Verify and assist with security patching
Assist with integration of security solutions in new and existing applications and systems
Stay up to date with emerging security threats and vulnerabilities
Communicate, coordinate and remediate threats in various locations across the organization
Monitor cloud assets for exposed information, unauthorized access and other threats
