About The Position

The Office of Information Technology Services at the University of Tennessee at Martin is accepting applications for an IT Security Administrator. This position serves as the senior subject matter expert and strategic lead for the University of Tennessee at Martin’s information security landscape. The role functions independently to architect, implement, and manage mission-critical security solutions that protect the University’s intellectual property, data assets, and the privacy of students, faculty, and staff. In addition to day-to-day operations, this position focuses on long-term strategic planning, risk management, and the direction of large-scale security initiatives of the University. The Security Administrator leads cross-functional teams, manages complex projects with significant budgetary impact, and serves as the primary liaison for security initiatives between UT Martin, external vendors, and the UT System.
