About The Position

The IT Salesforce Administrator is the technical owner of applications that are used by Alerus internal and external clients. This position is responsible to work closely with the applicable Business Unit to understand needs and concerns around the solution. Will use the application's native tools to develop and configure the system. Responsible to create efficiencies and utilize the system to the fullest and provide user and process escalation support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
  • 3-5 years SFDC experience.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification required and up to date
  • 3+ years SFDC Administration experience.
  • Flexibility with schedule for backup coverage, system conversions, updates, and maintenance.
  • Ability to adapt easily to change within a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the financial services industry, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and translate business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows (Screen, Record-Triggered, Scheduled) to automate complex business processes
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend technical improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy
  • Create functional and technical documentation for new and enhanced Salesforce solutions
  • Configure Salesforce features including objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and automation tools
  • Lead solution design discussions, ensuring proposed solutions align with business goals and Salesforce best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Flows, automation, and system behavior
  • Perform impact analysis and testing to ensure changes do not negatively affect existing functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, Operations, IT) to drive successful implementations
  • Provide user support, training, and guidance to encourage adoption of new processes and tools
