IT Project Manager/Technical PM

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead and manage the successful delivery of complex technical projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, software development life cycles, and technical concepts. The Technical Project Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, QA, and operations, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Requirements
- 8-12 years of experience in project management.
- Experience managing software development or IT infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to understand and translate technical concepts into actionable plans
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
- Experience working with cross-functional and global teams
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Background in software engineering or systems architecture
- Experience working with remote and cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end project activities, timelines, and deliverables
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements
- Develop detailed project plans, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and business stakeholders
- Track progress and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders
- Manage change requests and adjust project plans accordingly
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance with technical standards
- Identify and resolve project roadblocks and issues proactively
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability
