About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Process Improvement Manager III to lead enterprise-level process optimization initiatives within an ITSM operations environment. This role is critical to advancing operational excellence and supporting digital transformation efforts across business and technology teams. The selected consultant will conduct comprehensive current state evaluations, identify operational inefficiencies, and design scalable future state solutions. This includes translating optimized workflows into functional and non-functional requirements for modular or low-code technology platforms, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical architecture. This position requires a strategic process engineering leader who combines Lean and Six Sigma rigor with strong stakeholder engagement and IT collaboration capabilities.

Requirements

  • 8 years of experience in process engineering, operations optimization, or business process improvement
  • 5 years of experience evaluating current state processes and leading optimization initiatives
  • Experience specifying software system requirements to design improved technical solutions
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification
  • Demonstrated success leading process transformation initiatives within large organizations
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with operational metrics, workflow optimization, and cross-functional collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end evaluations of selected business processes across designated departments and functional areas
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to identify pain points, bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Document and analyze “As-Is” workflows using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Design optimized “To-Be” workflows and develop structured transition plans
  • Translate optimized processes into detailed functional and non-functional system requirements for modular or low-code technology solutions
  • Partner with product and IT teams to ensure process requirements are incorporated into system design and architecture
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and improve end-user satisfaction
  • Establish measurable performance metrics and ROI tracking mechanisms
  • Facilitate process mapping workshops, working sessions, and training engagements
  • Collaborate with IT and operations leadership to align improvement strategies with system capabilities
  • Support implementation roadmaps and structured change management strategies
