About The Position

Tjoapack is a global Contract Packaging Organization (CPO) with over 35 years of experience in pharmaceutical packaging and supply chain management. Headquartered in the Netherlands, with a growing site in Clinton, TN, we are shaping the future of the pharmaceutical supply chain—making it safer, more reliable, and patient-centered. As we continue expanding our U.S. operations, technology plays a critical role in enabling operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and sustainable growth. To support this next phase, we are seeking a driven IT Manager (US) to execute the digital transformation of our Clinton site and align technology with business priorities. As IT Manager (US), you will lead the digital agenda for our fast-growing US site, combining hands-on technical leadership with the ability to execute a strategic vision. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations while driving major initiatives—including a significant ERP implementation. This role requires a proactive, business-oriented leader who can translate operational needs into scalable technology solutions. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership—ensuring technology enables efficiency, compliance, security, and long-term growth. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual who leads by individual contribution, is energized by building systems, and shaping a growing digital environment in a regulated industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 10+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or pharmaceutical environment
  • At least 3 years in an IT leadership role with demonstrated success in ERP implementations and digital initiatives
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex technology projects
  • Solid technical foundation across infrastructure, enterprise systems, and applications
  • Experience working in multi-site or international organizations
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead through change
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills across technical and business stakeholders
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, regulated environment

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of IT operations, ensuring reliability, security, and operational efficiency
  • Play a key role in the ERP implementation at the US site—acting as the on-site coordinator and key liaison, ensuring alignment with the overall global project plan
  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into effective and scalable IT solutions
  • Develop IT strategies aligned with business objectives and future growth
  • Monitor and improve IT performance through clear KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Plan for future IT capacity, skills development, and team expansion
  • Provide leadership during system outages or technical emergencies
  • Ensure strong cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance practices
  • Oversee vendor relationships, procurement, and IT budget management for the US site
  • Collaborate with the global IT group to maintain consistency across our international technology landscape
  • Ensure stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery readiness
  • Support reliable systems for production, quality, and back-office functions
  • Partner with the Director of Technology on ERP deployment across US operations
  • Support planning, testing, training, and go-live activities
  • Drive process automation and digital initiatives that enhance operational performance
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the US IT team
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership
  • Implement robust security protocols and data protection standards
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry and data privacy regulations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate technology risks
