About The Position

The IT manager will be an integral part of Amigo's technology department, responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all computer-related activities to ensure the infrastructure is both high-performing and ironclad. The ideal candidate balances technical mastery with leadership, ensuring that networks, software, and hardware not only run smoothly today but are prepared for future challenges.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Direct experience working in an early stage start-up as part of a small or solo IT team
Deep understanding of network administration, cloud computing, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Proven ability to lead complex technical projects from conception to completion.
A sharp analytical mind capable of troubleshooting critical system failures under pressure.
Ability to translate complex technical jargon into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement IT strategies and projects that align with the organization’s overarching goals.
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of the organization’s networks (LAN/WAN), hardware (servers, workstations), and software suites.
Direct all data security operations, including firewall management, backups, disaster recovery protocols, and internal audits to protect sensitive information.
Manage the IT annual budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement of hardware and software licenses.
Monitor system performance regularly to identify bottlenecks and implement "best-practice" solutions for increased efficiency.
