Requirements

  • At least 5 years of IT experience, including managing teams responsible for desktop support and help desk operations, architecture design and deployment, systems lifecycle management, and infrastructure planning and operations.
  • At least 5 years of IT experience in areas such as IT infrastructure components, including Windows Active Directory, server administration & management, telecom services, VPN services, Azure services, Microsoft 365, Cisco/Meraki network, VM and Hyper V, Microsoft Intune, APIs, and other web-enabled applications.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices.
  • Ability to manage internal and external projects from inception to completion.
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
  • Skill in conceptualizing creative solutions, documenting them, and presenting them to senior management.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • Ability to develop and deliver projects on time using leading-edge technologies in waterfall project management.
  • Experience implementing software packages and collaborating with vendors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Appropriate Microsoft and Cisco certifications.
  • Outstanding organization skills and meticulous follow-up and follow-through approach to managing daily tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft 365 telecom services experience a plus.
  • Data Lake experience a plus.
  • HIPAA Security experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting a portfolio of strategic projects and initiatives, including operational improvements, software/system deployments, and technology projects across all organizational areas.
  • Working with senior leadership on long-range plans that support the company’s vision and strategy.
  • Providing cross-functional teams with project expertise, direction, and oversight.
  • Prioritizing programs and projects based on changing needs, resource capacity constraints, and dependencies, and portfolio risk exposure.
  • Continually working with the team to improve and adapt the current project and governance methodology to meet the company’s changing needs.
  • Working with the VP of Technology, the incumbent will communicate the PMO vision to the company.
  • Lead the analysis, selection, and roll-out of PMO tools that enable the integrated delivery model.
  • Provide the necessary training and facilitating skills to drive transformation activities and ensure long-term adoption.
  • Establish and build a project management information system (PMIS), including documenting all charters, risk plans, comms plans, training plans, key decisions, and project schedules.
  • Own project schedules and dashboards within Smartsheet, Pinnacle’s current project schedule platform.
  • Plan and deliver allocated product launches end-to-end.
  • Ensure functional area deliverables are understood, cross-functionally aligned, and that execution and timelines are on track.
  • Bring a deep background in Portfolio, Program & Project management.
  • Leads project quality and lessons-learned functions to mitigate and address project delivery challenges in support of continuous improvement efforts.
  • Prepares regular, thorough, and articulate executive summaries for senior leadership on project and team performance.
  • Ensures adherence to practices, procedures, precedents, policy, and Executive Leadership direction.
