About The Position

The IT Manager oversees the direction and operation of the technical infrastructure of the organization as well as development and management of IT staff. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Establish development plan for IT team. Manage IT team to include identifying daily task lists, roles, function ownership, and project management. Direct and oversee computer operations and ensure operational efficiency of systems. Supervise the allocation and monitoring of all computer inventory needs, hardware and software packages, and peripheral devices. Develop network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and maintenance costs. Manage all aspects of IT operations, help desk, and supporting systems. Direct the effective delivery of networks, application support, and third-party provider sourcing and processes. Work collaboratively with information security to ensure the constant safety and security of the bank’s networks and infrastructure. Collaborate with critical partners to ensure support or service of the information technology program. Manage technology related projects. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make informed decisions. Identify and implement emerging technologies to enhance services and improve experiences. Partner with business unit managers to identify technology and service level needs. Facilitate IT Steering Committee Meetings Assist in annual review of critical and IT related vendors for Vendor Management Program. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks, and participating in forums, user group conferences, and webinars. Organize annual IT audits. Coordinate cybersecurity, AI, and acceptable use training. Oversee equipment purchases, delivery, and implementation. Annual review, updates, and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with related advanced certifications required.
  • Seven or more years of experience working in an information technology role with a minimum of three years of experience in a leadership/management position, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience developing modern network and infrastructure solutions; developing and managing Microsoft 365 and related applications including Azure and Intune; conducting business continuity and disaster recovery testing; developing and maintaining an asset management program; supporting audits, performing testing, and writing and developing policies; preparing and delivering reports to Executive Management and Board of Directors.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of network operations, infrastructure, and architecture.
  • Technical-based skills for managing a technology program.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and teach others.
  • Ability to explain highly technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborative environment.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, and crawl.
  • Manual dexterity to operate computers, handle documents, and use office equipment.
  • Visual ability to review detailed data and view computer screens for extended periods of time.
  • Hearing and speaking ability to communicate clearly in person and over the phone.
  • Lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work established work hours as required by the role as well as additional time when needed to meet the needs of the department.
  • Local and out of state travel for training and seminars is required.
  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience with audit and examination support is preferred.
