About The Position

PCT Ebeam and Integration is seeking an IT Manager to join their team. This is a newly created position. This role is responsible for all technology systems supporting the business, including hardware, software, servers, networking, security, phones, and cloud services. This position manages and maintains all IT infrastructure, supports end users, and ensures reliable, secure technology operations across the company. The role combines hands-on technical work with planning, vendor coordination, and process improvement to keep the business running efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field and four plus years of related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer operations, including technical knowledge of networking hardware and software products.
  • Knowledge of computer office software such as work processors, spreadsheets, databases, and operating systems.
  • Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN), and cloud-based tools (Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with end users to diagnose and resolve technical issues across different systems and technologies, including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Analyzes business needs and recommends the selection of IT hardware and software to support internal business processes.
  • Maintains detailed documentation of methodologies, processes and specifications of the IT systems and assists with the planning and scheduling of IT initiatives.
  • Installs, configures, monitors, and maintains network infrastructure and hardware (including LAN/WAN/wireless networks, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, wiring, and related equipment) to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and reliability
  • Implements and monitors security systems to protect networks, systems, and data and ensures backup strategies and recovery plans are up to date.
  • Supports, maintains, configures and troubleshoot meeting room technology such as Teams Room PCs, soundbars, cameras, wireless presentation systems, and displays. Coordinates with vendors as needed.
  • Ensures new hire workstations are set up prior to the employee start to ensure a positive new hire experience. Support new hire during onboarding process.
  • Manages and maintains desktop VOIP and cell phone account, lines, and hardware.
  • Trains and alerts employees on cyber security risks and other matters impacting the company network.
  • Monitors and maintains software, operating systems, and auxiliary software products, including installation and testing of upgrades as needed.
  • Establishes and maintains beneficial relationships with vendors and contractors to resolve hardware and software program problems.
  • Contributes to and operates within budgetary guidelines. Works with accounting and purchasing to acquire adequate supplies of computers, printers and other accessories. Maintains documentation and inventory of systems, network diagrams, licenses, and assets.
  • Organize and maintain server and IT rooms.
  • Ensures the protection and confidentiality of sensitive information by implementing robust security protocols and adhering to data privacy standards.
