About The Position

NAYA Family Center is seeking an IT Manager to lead the organization’s technology infrastructure and systems strategy. This role provides strategic oversight of NAYA’s networks, servers, security systems, hardware, software, phone systems, and mobile devices, ensuring staff have reliable and secure technology to effectively serve the community. The IT Manager will supervise IT staff, manage organization-wide technology projects, and align technology systems with NAYA’s strategic growth across programs and offsite locations. This is a full-time position typically working 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. The annual salary for this position is $90,000 to $95,000. Who Are You Ideally, you're familiar with Native American history and understand the unique experiences and strengths of urban Native communities. You have 4–6+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or technology management, with supervisory or leadership experience. You are experienced managing networks, servers, firewalls, security systems, and both Mac and PC environments. You have strong project management skills and can lead complex technology initiatives from planning through implementation. You have experience supervising and mentoring IT staff, setting priorities, and ensuring accountability. You are confident troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues across diverse systems. You understand cybersecurity best practices and can define and enforce IT policies and procedures. You are comfortable managing vendor relationships, contracts, and technology procurement within budget parameters. You communicate technical information clearly to non-technical staff and leadership. You are a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and can manage multiple priorities independently. You thrive in a team-oriented workplace, are adaptable, and are willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in, even when it’s not your job. You demonstrate self-awareness, listening deeply, centering others, and taking accountability for your actions. What You'll Do Lead strategic planning for IT infrastructure, security, and systems improvements across NAYA programs. Serve as the primary project manager for organization-wide technology initiatives. Supervise and support IT staff, including coaching, accountability, and professional development. Oversee network performance, system monitoring, and security management. Administer and maintain servers, firewalls, malware protection, backups, and related infrastructure. Ensure timely and high-quality response to help desk requests and technical support needs. Manage VoIP phone systems, cellular devices, and mobile device management. Oversee technology procurement, vendor relationships, and budgeting in collaboration with leadership. Develop and maintain an efficient technology ordering and inventory process. Prepare quarterly reports on network efficiency, system performance, and technology recommendations. Support and maintain internal databases and systems required for service delivery and contract compliance, including ETO, CaseWorthy, Counselor Max, SAGE Fund Accounting, Raisers Edge, and related platforms. Lead implementation projects such as SharePoint migration and develop best practices for system use and file storage. Define and enforce IT policies, including security protocols, user access, and electronic communications standards. Provide organization-wide IT training and ongoing technical support to staff. Participate in cross-departmental projects and contribute to a safe, secure, and inclusive technology environment.
