The IT Manager will provide hands-on technical support to site and ensure user base receives high-quality support while maintaining the integrity of our Microsoft 365, networking, and cybersecurity infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional IT experience, specifically including direct experience managing or working within an MSP model.
  • Deep familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Azure and Entra ID.
  • Practical knowledge of firewalls, VPN architecture, and network scanners and copiers.
  • Solid understanding of EDR, SIEM, and modern cybersecurity best practices. Creating and maintaining Disaster Recovery Plans.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining cloud-based VoIP phone systems (not managed by MSP).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to report effectively to executive- level leadership.
  • Experience training the user base on Microsoft technologies and creating technology user guides.
  • Microsoft and CompTIA certifications.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and management.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the Affordable Housing sector but not required.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish/Creole a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite liaison for the MSP. Monitor their performance against SLAs, manage the escalation of complex tickets, and lead weekly coordination meetings to ensure project alignment.
  • Provide internal management of Microsoft 365 environments, Microsoft Entra ID, and cloud-based phone systems, ensuring the MSP maintains these systems according to corporate standards.
  • Responsible for configuring and maintaining network printers, copiers and scanners.
  • Oversee the security and connectivity of our three offices. This includes verifying the configuration and uptime of firewalls, VPNs, and the effectiveness of EDR and SIEM monitoring.
  • Provide regular updates to the Managing Director and Corporate Sr. Manager of IT regarding system health, security vulnerabilities, and MSP performance metrics.
  • Assist in managing the local IT budget and coordinating hardware/software procurement through approved vendors.
  • Act as the internal champion for our 100+ staff members, ensuring they have the tools and training needed to excel with Office products and industry-specific applications.
  • Asset Tracking: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT assets across our three office locations.
  • Manage IT Specialist with job tasking and supervision.
