About The Position

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION. Walton Signage is a well-respected, innovative company in the signage industry. The Company serves large, national or corporate accounts with turnkey installation of high quality signage systems and has been listed several times as one of Inc. Magazine's fastest growing companies. This position serves as the strategic and operational leader for Walton Signage’s IT department. The role is responsible for overseeing technology infrastructure, cloud architecture, end-user support to ensure reliable and secure business operations. The IT Manager will lead efforts to deliver scalable solutions, drive automation, and align technology initiatives with Walton’s corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in a multi-site or project-based organization.
• Strong technical knowledge of network systems, cloud services, security and identity management
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and service-level performance.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor teams and manage cross-functional initiatives.
• Strategic thinker with hands-on technical problem-solving ability.
• Process-oriented mindset with strong documentation and compliance discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Netsuite Experience
• Experience with EDI, APIs, Integrations Inventory, WMS, Shipping, logistics, project management

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily IT operations and ensure system uptime, performance, and security across the organization.
• Manage IT helpdesk, prioritize tickets, and ensure high-quality support for all end users.
• Own vendor relationships for Security, cloud, infrastructure solutions,
• Lead implementation of IT projects including hardware rollouts, system upgrades, and workflow automation.
• Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity standards, policies, and training.
• Monitor IT budgets and control costs related to procurement, licensing, and maintenance.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate IT technical resources.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Maintain accurate documentation for systems, processes, and network configurations.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, data governance, and audit requirements.
