About The Position

The IT manager for technology services within the College of Health and Human Sciences is a 12-month, full-time Administrative Professional position. The IT manager for technology services reports directly to the director of IT for the College of Health and Human Sciences. Working as a member of the College's IT group, this position will oversee the daily operations of the College's six computer labs, including supervision of the student staff and management of related hardware and software. The position is also responsible for facilitating technology purchases for the College's eight academic units, various centers, and computer labs, including client hardware, software, and printers. The position will also collaborate with the other IT managers in the implementation, support, and enhancement of technologies that support the College's faculty, staff, and students. The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, have a willingness to serve in a broad variety of roles as needed, and be dedicated to the mission of Colorado State University and the College of Health and Human Sciences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize multiple complex tasks.
  • Experience as either a team lead or supervisor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Two years or more of relevant work experience.
  • Experience supporting and/or managing technology in a computer lab or similar environment.
  • Experience with procuring computer hardware and/or software in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated success in building effective teams.
  • Experience in higher education

Responsibilities
