About The Position

Children’s Cardiology, a subsidiary of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is comprised of more than 60 pediatric cardiologists providing comprehensive services for patients from before birth to age 21 who have acquired or congenital heart disease. The Operations Support internship provides the opportunity for a hands-on experience related to their field of study by assisting in the day to day operations of the IT department.

Requirements

• Majoring in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Must possess a high level of analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with different level managers is required.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
• Travel to sites in Metro Atlanta and North Georgia 25%.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment set up for desktops/laptops.
• Learn about company organization IT systems and networks.
• Assist with the daily desktop support team by helping onsite and remote users, answer questions and resolve computer issues in person, via telephone, or electronically.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
