Key responsibilities include:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience in infrastructure environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project and PWA
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and actuals (SAP preferred)
  • Experience with vendor management, contract bidding, and negotiations
  • Ability to manage project financials including invoice reconciliation and variance tracking
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls, networks)
  • Proficient Excel skills

Nice To Haves

  • 8+ years managing infrastructure or network-heavy projects
  • Deep SAP financials experience
  • Strong vendor relationship management in complex environments
  • PMI-PMP certification
  • BA/BS in business, IT, engineering, or a related discipline

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage delivery schedules and cost plans for 1–10 active projects
  • Provide consistent progress reporting to PMO leadership
  • Maintain financial accuracy across budgets, forecasts, accruals, and actuals (SAP preferred)
  • Create and approve time cards in PWA
  • Lead project meetings, escalate issues, and drive corrective action
  • Identify and track project risks, escalating appropriately to the PCO
  • Coordinate 3rd party vendors, site installations, equipment turn-ups, and acceptance testing
  • Oversee permitting needs using internal and external teams
  • Support job site safety and compliance requirements
  • Manage and submit purchase order requests and track deliveries for invoicing purposes
  • Attend Change Advisory Board (IT CAB) sessions when necessary
