About The Position

SOUND Behavioral Health is growing and welcoming an IT Infrastructure Engineer in Tukwila, WA! SOUND is one of King County’s most comprehensive providers of quality mental health and addiction treatment services, supporting our area’s most vulnerable populations. The IT Infrastructure Engineer performs ongoing activities to maintain and enhance infrastructure technologies utilized by the organization. The Engineer serves as an escalation point to our Service Desk Tier I team. Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Location: In office at our Tukwila office (6400 Southcenter Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188). Applications will be accepted until January 20.

Requirements

  • Strong and diverse knowledge base and proven experience in multiple areas of Information Technology.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively (both orally and in writing).
  • Excellent logic and ability to define and creatively problem-solve complex situations.
  • Broad awareness of enterprise information systems technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC hardware and network gear.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and procedures.
  • A minimum of five years of advanced technical support is required.
  • Proven customer or client service experience.
  • Demonstrable skills with Windows operating systems.
  • Experience supporting and administering Microsoft SCCM and Intune
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Active Directory environments.
  • VMware ESX Experience required.
  • Knowledgeable on SSO, SAML, MFA, and Okta
  • Experience in the following technologies: Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SharePoint, IP routing, Ethernet LANs, Network Printing.
  • Experience supporting mobile device management products.
  • Experience utilizing industry best practices and products to address risks and situations found in modern computing environments.
  • Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required to provide occasional support to various locations.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit at a desk for four or more hours a day, and use office equipment, including phones and computer keyboards, for four or more hours per day.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend and move computer equipment.
  • Individuals must be able to engage team members over the phone and in-person by voice.
  • Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provides escalated Tier 2 support for more advanced system problems.
  • When necessary, provides IT support services to end-users with a focus on helping them achieve positive business results.
  • Proactively identifies, resolves problems, and researches answers and provides resources to other IT team members and end-users.
  • Maintains and supports the virtual server environment: VMWare, Hyper-V.
  • Supports and maintains identity management products.
  • Builds software images for office workstations, desktops, and laptops.
  • Administers Active Directory and facilitates Group Policy management.
  • Supports VMware Horizon VDI and Microsoft Remote Desktop, as well as VPN remote access capability.
  • Travels to different Sound locations to troubleshoot, deliver, and set up servers and networking equipment.
  • Provides content expert assistance to the Technology Department.
  • Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
