About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in Vulnerability Management to support a critical infrastructure initiative. The professional will play a key role in maintaining, securing, and modernizing enterprise systems by addressing technical debt and ensuring systems are aligned with current technology standards. This is a remote contract opportunity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or Vulnerability Management.
• Strong knowledge of patch management processes and tools.
• Hands -on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise systems.
• Experience with application and server migrations to newer versions.
• Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation practices.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform system patching and updates to address vulnerabilities and improve security posture.
• Configure infrastructure changes to ensure stability and compliance.
• Migrate applications hosted on servers to newer, supported versions.
• Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to reduce technical debt and ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor and remediate vulnerabilities as part of ongoing project initiatives.
• Document processes, changes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and continuity.
