About The Position

MityLite is an award-winning manufacturer of professionally designed highly durable event furniture. Trusted worldwide, MityLite products are found primarily in banquet, meeting, and event venues in the hospitality, education, government, and church markets. We are currently seeking a Help Desk associate to join our team. This is an hourly role - Monday thru Friday 8am - 5pm. This role sits at the frontline of IT support and is usually the first interaction a user will have the IT Department. They will responsible for reviewing tickets submitted via web or walk-in, resolved level 1 issues outlined in the ticket and either closing the ticket in a timely manner or escalating it to system administration or system analysts on staff. Additionally, they will assist in deploying new computers and following the replacement schedule of aging machines on the network.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Oriented Attitude
  • 2+ years of help desk experience
  • Windows and Mac OS knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming support requests via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by end-users
  • Provide timely and effective solutions to technical problems
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams when necessary
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updates and patches
  • Analyze system logs and identify potential issues or trends
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve overall IT support processes
