About The Position

he IT Internship provides a wide range of both hands on and technical opportunities to grow knowledge and experience. This intern works with our Helpdesk Technician to learn user behavior, basic triage, and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, this position works closely with Wedgwoods IS Systems Specialist to understand basic configurations and good cyber security practice. Bachelor Level Internships will be paid $14 hourly.

Requirements

  • High School diploma required.
  • Currently enrolled in a Information Technology or Computer Science program.
  • Good organization and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency.

Responsibilities

  • Triage incoming Helpdesk Tickets
  • Create Training Materials to Educate End Users on Technical Tasks
  • Provision, Deploy, and Decommission Endpoints and Track Asset Management
  • Meet regularly with IT Director concerning tasks performed, jobs to be completed, and to discuss items of need or concern.
  • Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
