About The Position

DT Professionals is seeking a motivated IT Help Desk Technician to join the team at our Moorpark, CA office. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career (6–12 months experience) who is eager to grow their skills in supporting users, managing devices, and learning modern endpoint management tools. You will play a key role in day-to-day IT support, assisting with device setup, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate asset records while gaining hands-on experience with enterprise IT systems.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in IT support, help desk, or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow processes and document work clearly.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Microsoft Intune, MDM, or endpoint management tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Introductory scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Entry-level IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or similar).

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning).
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Support periodic inventory audits.
  • Implement and optimize asset management processes and tools.
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Enforce endpoint configuration policies across the organization.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and application issues across endpoints.
  • Work inside MDM platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager.
  • Enroll, configure, and secure mobile and endpoint devices.
  • Implement compliance policies, conditional access, and device restrictions.
  • Monitor device health and security posture.
  • Design and manage Intune policies for device configuration, compliance, and security.
  • Deploy applications, updates, and scripts via Intune.
  • Manage Autopilot provisioning and endpoint onboarding.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational and security standards.
  • Manage user identities, roles, and access controls
  • Support provisioning/deprovisioning workflows
  • Troubleshoot authentication and access-related issues
  • Assist with managing user accounts, email access, and group memberships
  • Support collaboration tools (Drive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Help troubleshoot common email and access issues
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Knowledge Base (KB) articles
  • Document troubleshooting steps, configurations, and workflows
  • Continuously improve documentation for clarity and usability
  • Assist in running or modifying simple scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell
  • Automate routine IT tasks such as onboarding, patching, and reporting
  • Integrate scripts with existing systems (Intune, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Improve operational efficiency through process automation
