What you bring to the table We are seeking a highly motivated IT Tech Support Intern to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining practical experience in IT support within a professional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT team to provide technical assistance and support to internal users.

Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a degree program in Information Technology or related field.
  • Strong interest in IT support and technology.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
  • Knowledge of help desk ticketing systems.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to IT support requests via email, phone, or in-person, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex problems to senior team members when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions for future reference.
  • Assist with IT projects and initiatives as assigned by senior team members.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
