We are hiring a hands-on IT Field Infrastructure Technician to support the buildout and maintenance of our healthcare locations. This role focuses on deploying networking equipment, configuring devices, and supporting on-site technical needs across multiple clinics. This is a field-based position requiring regular travel to locations. The ideal candidate enjoys working with hardware, networking equipment, and solving real-world technical problems on-site.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on IT support or network technician experience
  • Experience installing and configuring networking equipment
  • Working knowledge of basic networking concepts (VLANs, DHCP, Wi-Fi)
  • Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel regularly
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Install and configure firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi access points
  • Coordinate with internet service providers for circuit activation
  • Configure basic network settings (VLANs, DHCP, DNS)
  • Deploy laptops, printers, and other endpoint devices
  • Install and test nurse call systems and VoIP phones
  • Set up TVs and connected devices for patient areas
  • Install refrigerator sensors and other connected equipment
  • Connect and test UPS/battery backup systems
  • Verify network and device functionality prior to site go-live
  • Travel to locations to troubleshoot connectivity or hardware issues
  • Replace failed equipment and reconfigure devices as needed
  • Support hardware refreshes and device lifecycle processes
  • Maintain documentation of network setups
  • Assist with laptop provisioning and device imaging
  • Help manage Microsoft 365 device setup
  • Work with outsourced help desk for escalations
  • Support inventory tracking and equipment organization
