About The Position

Role: IT Development Intern Location: Hybrid – Atlanta, GA Duration: May 18, 2026 – August 7, 2026 This position will be part of GreenSky's Technology team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, cloud-native environment while contributing to the development and maintenance of high-performing APIs, web frontends, and mobile applications. Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Familiarity with Angular framework and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Basic understanding of mobile app development (iOS and Android)
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Interest in AI and machine learning technologies
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining Java-based APIs for our cloud-native suite
- Contribute to frontend development using Angular framework
- Support mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Explore and evaluate AI use cases relevant to our business problems
