About The Position

Prudential Overall Supply is seeking a hands-on IT Desktop & Network Technician to provide on-site and remote technical support across multiple facilities. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues while ensuring a high level of service for internal users. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can prioritize multiple tasks, and enjoys supporting users both remotely and in person.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent technical certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of desktop hardware, networking fundamentals, and application support.
  • Experience supporting Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
  • Ability to troubleshoot both familiar and unfamiliar technologies using documentation and vendor resources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to company facilities as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools (NinjaOne, ManageEngine, or similar)
  • Experience with VoIP platforms (RingCentral, 8x8, or similar)
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Helpdesk / ticketing systems (ServiceDesk, Jira, or similar)
  • Experience with Inventory and asset management tools
  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Mass360
  • Experience with Active Directory

Responsibilities

  • Provide desk-side and remote technical support for multiple company locations within driving distance in California.
  • Travel to facilities as needed to support system setup, troubleshooting, and equipment deployment.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Provide first-level helpdesk support via phone, remote tools, email, and in-person assistance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, and peripheral equipment.
  • Manage and support Windows 10, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory environments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mobile devices through Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Mass360.
  • Log, track, and document helpdesk requests and resolutions within the ticketing system.
  • Follow standard helpdesk procedures and escalate complex issues to appropriate technical resources.
  • Research technical issues using internal resources, vendor documentation, and knowledge bases.
  • Manage procurement, deployment, and inventory of end-user hardware including laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
  • Track equipment lifecycle and ensure proper documentation of assets.
  • Stay current on system updates, technology changes, and best practices.
  • Provide equipment delivery and front-line technical support to remote offices when necessary.
  • Lift and transport equipment up to 40 lbs when installing or deploying hardware.
