About The Position

As our Data Intern, you will support the IT Data team in managing and analyzing data to improve operational efficiency and decision-making by assisting with data cleaning, integration, visualization, and reporting, while gaining hands-on experience with data tools and workflows in a professional environment. This internship offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with IT professionals, analysts, and cross-functional teams to contribute to impactful data initiatives.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• No prior experience required; coursework or projects in data analytics preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to sit for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing as needed.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment (e.g., computers, printers, copiers).

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of data visualization and relational databases is also beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support data integration, database management, and dashboard development using tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI, while applying programming and secure coding practices.
• Analyze data to identify trends, answer research questions, and support IT decision-making with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to document findings, present insights, and clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Coordinate data-related tasks, maintain accurate records, and assist with reporting and project milestones.
• Gain hands-on experience with enterprise data systems, receive mentorship, and engage in continuous learning and feedback.
