This individual will work closely with data scientists, and business stakeholders to assist in data preparation, model development, and visualization efforts. The intern will gain hands-on experience with modern data science tools and techniques while contributing to real-world projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis.
- Support the development and testing of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights effectively using tools like Power BI or AI/BI dashboard in Databricks.
- Write scripts in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and automation using Databricks.
- Collaborate with team members to validate model performance and document findings.
- Research emerging data science technologies and evaluate their applicability within NJM’s ecosystem.
