SUMMARY In collaboration with the LOB Solutions & Applications Manager, the student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations. The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility through his/her co-op experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Escalation of issues, and incident resolution Installation, configuration and troubleshooting for IT hardware and software Diagnosing and troubleshooting in a manufacturing production environment Help to research complex technical problems Experience with a help desk environment is a plus Review of folder permissions on file servers and possible re-structuring Provide general computer support within the plant Deploy 2 new switches to be configured by division Complete a baseline review of the required software for the Revert Group Performs all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines Adheres to plant and department safety rules, safely operate all equipment and tools, identifies and reports safety problems, corrects when possible Maintains a clean and safe work area QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of computer hardware Basic knowledge of computer networking Proficient with Microsoft Office Good writing skills and interpersonal skills Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering ADDITIONAL SKILLS Active directory experience Knowledge of project management and business analysis Strong analytical skills; possess the ability to work through technical issues Action Oriented; drive for results Functional and Technical Skills Customer Focus and peer relationships Learning Agility Integrity and Trust ADDITIONAL NOTES The Company retains the right to change or assign other duties to this position.
