About The Position

CompTech is seeking a qualified IT Cloud Support Specialist to support our customer the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering customer support services related to cloud-based application migration and the deployment of new cloud solutions.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Five (5) years of progressive experience in the field of Cloud Hosting
Certifications: IA Level: IAT-II
One of the following: CCNA Security CySA+ GICSP Security+ CE SSCP CASP+ CE CCNP Security CISA CISSP (or Associate) GCED

Secret Security Clearance: Must have ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this role

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to scope and plan cloud initiatives
Assist with the execution of cloud projects
Research, diagnose, and report technical issues
Consult with users to gather requirements and define solution needs
Develop business cases to support project decisions
Ensure adherence to information security and cybersecurity policies and best practices
Facilitate Change Management activities
Support configuration management processes
Provide cloud cost analysis support to assist with cloud hosting financial planning
Generate cloud planning estimates and forecast projected costs
Support the EH Office by reporting, consolidating, and validating data for cloud financial reporting requirements
Research and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities to optimize and reduce cloud costs
