The IT Business Systems Manager leads digital transformation initiatives to automate and streamline processes, enhance communication and reporting, and deliver quality technology solutions across the organization. This role serves as a strategic bridge between business units (Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, Operations, Finance) and the Digital Technology Division—driving the planning and execution of enterprise system projects such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, WMS, TMS, and LMS. The manager oversees the full business implementation lifecycle, from requirements definition and process mapping to change management, training, and user adoption. They combine business insight, technical understanding, and project management expertise to ensure systems operate efficiently, align with strategic goals, and deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

  • 7 years of experience working hands-on with at least one major enterprise-critical application (e.g., SAP or Oracle)
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team of Business Analysts, Systems Administrators, or functional experts is essential for Team Development and resource allocation.
  • Direct experience in at least full-cycle system implementations (from selection to post-launch support).
  • Bachelor's Degree in related fields such as Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of how Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other core business applications function and integrate.
  • Understanding of system integration methodologies (APIs, ETL, middleware) and data flow across organizational boundaries.
  • Comprehensive understanding of key business processes within areas like Supply Chain, Finance (GL, AR, AP), and Sales/Operations to effectively lead process mapping and requirements definition.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices relevant to the systems being managed (e.g., GAAP for finance systems, Lean principles for WMS).
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, risk, and compliance standards.
  • Skill in configuring and customizing core business systems (e.g., ERP modules) to align with defined business requirements without heavy reliance on custom code.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (SQL, Power BI/Tableau) for generating reports and validating data integrity.
  • Exceptional skill in eliciting, documenting, and prioritizing complex business requirements (user stories, functional specifications) and translating them into clear instructions for development teams.
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, budget, and resources across cross-functional teams, often involving multiple vendors and internal departments.
  • Skill in coordinating and overseeing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and quality assurance efforts.
  • Ability to think strategically and link system capabilities directly to business goals (e.g., how an ERP feature drives operational efficiency).
  • Strong problem-solving ability to diagnose complex system and process issues and propose feasible technology solutions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, from executive management to end-users, without direct authority.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate complex technical issues to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Expert ability to lead change management efforts, including developing training programs, communicating the benefits of the transition, and mitigating user resistance to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple priorities effectively. A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
