About The Position

This role serves as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders, bridging technology solutions with organizational strategy to maximize ROI and operational efficiency. The IT Business Relationship Manager partners with business leaders to define technology strategies, oversee project delivery, and evaluate modernizations that drive value across departments. This position involves managing executive-level relationships, coordinating vendor engagements, and leading initiatives that leverage IT, AI, and automation to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, anticipates business needs, and implements technology solutions that improve processes, enhance performance, and support growth. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, with opportunities to influence technology investments and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline
  • Professional certifications such as CBRM, PMP, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT functions, strategic planning, and execution
  • 5+ years of experience facilitating business initiatives and project implementation
  • Strong knowledge of technology trends, AI, automation, and business integration
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders
  • Experience in evaluating technology solutions, driving change, and implementing collaborative platforms
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage vendors, and prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and client service orientation

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic and operational IT planning aligned with business objectives
  • Prioritize technology, AI, and automation initiatives; oversee assessment, deployment, and management of systems
  • Build and maintain relationships with business executives, department leaders, and vendors
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and propose programs and projects that drive strategic goals
  • Optimize technology and software usage to enhance collaboration, automation, and efficiency across teams
  • Direct continuous improvements in systems, procedures, and technology adoption
  • Develop business case justifications, cost/benefit analyses, and measure effectiveness of deployed solutions
  • Participate in audits, client programs, and other business initiatives as required
