Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related technical discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT functions, including strategic planning and execution.
  • 5+ years of experience leading or facilitating business initiatives and cross-functional technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing IT budgets, investment justifications, and ROI analyses.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their business applications, including AI and automation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, negotiation, and change management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications such as CBRM, PMP, or relevant technical credentials (preferred).
  • experience in pharma commercialization processes, Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), or related lab systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders, owning executive-level relationships and ensuring alignment between technology strategy and business objectives.
  • Lead technology strategic and operational planning initiatives to support revenue growth, efficiency, and EBITDA improvement.
  • Prioritize and oversee technology and AI initiatives, coordinating assessment, deployment, and lifecycle management of systems.
  • Evaluate emerging industry and competitor trends to identify opportunities for innovation, modernization, and automation.
  • Partner with department leaders to translate business strategies into technology roadmaps, programs, and projects.
  • Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and budget proposals for IT investments and resource planning.
  • Manage vendor relationships, evaluate technology platforms, and ensure cost-effective sourcing decisions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes, and governance frameworks to enhance operational performance.
  • Measure solution effectiveness and anticipate how business or policy changes may impact technology systems.
