About The Position

Responsible for conducting and identifying IT/CE business process analyses, needs assessment, and make recommendations on process optimization improvements. Monitors adoption and adherence levels of processes and provides necessary in-services and training for IT/CE teams working in a diverse matrix environment. May also fill the role of a merger and acquisition specialist working with a senior business process analyst or other designated IT leaders to contribute to strategy formulation related to integration of IT components with any M&A's. The ideal candidate must have high intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven ability to work with cross-functional teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • One certification required: ITIL Foundation, Cobit Foundation, PMP, or other standard process framework certification.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of information technology experience, including a minimum of two (2) years of experience serving in a process improvement function with a focus on process lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a technology process leader and change agent, working with other team members, the manager and senior manager of strategic process optimization and other matrix IT/CE teams to define process optimization initiatives that align with the enterprise architecture standards and industry best practices.
  • General understanding of how the ITIL framework aligns with and complements enterprise architecture standards and other frameworks like Agile, Project Management Institute, Cobit, or other related methodologies in the performance of job duties.
  • Assists to develop and lead the implementation of an IT Service Management (ITSM) Office, ITSM tool, and integration within each area of Orlando Health IT to provide service management functions within the IT/CE organization.
  • Plans and conducts assignments involving process optimization initiatives working with other matrix IT/CE teams.
  • May identify and is able to document and communicate scope and objectives of process optimization initiatives.
  • Assists in the development of IT/CE organization-wide configuration and change management processes, guidelines, procedures, plans, supporting assets, and related metrics.
  • Works with matrix IT teams to make recommendations for the design and integration of IT processes and procedures utilizing best practices and industry standard frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT, PMBOK, CMMI).
  • Provides analysis and evaluation of IT/CE systems, processes, and workflow to ensure achievement of positive patient outcomes.
  • Identify current-state baselines and recommends target performance metrics for future state, including business value associated with each process improvement initiative.
  • Plans, conducts, and documents the future state process workshops and conducts in-services or training sessions.
  • Assist in the development of educational material and workshops on business process management concepts, techniques, and technologies and conduct in-services.
  • Coaches and reviews the work of the IT business process analyst, associates.
  • Effectively participates in review sessions to determine effectiveness of newly implemented lifecycle processes. Identify process pain points and recommend process improvement opportunities. Works with other matrix IT/CE teams to identify current-state baselines and target performance outcomes to develop metrics.
  • Work closely with senior business process analyst or other IT leaders participating in the development and implementation strategies for integration planning with any mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ability to handle complex projects with focus on M&A activities, in the evaluation of IT/CE solutions to participate in providing input on aligning to business objectives and other strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in identifying risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas.
  • Assist in business development activities including preparing presentations.
  • Provides analysis and evaluation of how IT/CE processes and workflow will be integrated into any mergers and acquisitions to ensure achievement of positive patient outcomes.
  • Writes necessary technical processes and supporting workflow diagrams.
  • Oversees work of the associate business process analysts.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Maintains current knowledge on industry standards and process improvement methodologies.
