You’ll be a key player in shaping and improving how the organization manages risk and compliance on ServiceNow IRM, combining process thinking, analysis, and hands-on collaboration. This isn’t a back-office documentation role. As the Business Process Analyst for ServiceNow IRM, you’ll directly shape how the organization manages risk and compliance—designing processes, influencing the roadmap, and seeing your work come to life on a platform the business uses every day. You will work in a truly cross-functional environment: Partner with risk & compliance leaders to turn regulatory, policy, and control needs into practical workflows and data models in ServiceNow IRM. Collaborate with business process owners to run workshops, map current processes, identify pain points, and design future-state ways of working. Work side-by-side with the ServiceNow Platform Team (architects, developers, admins) to translate your requirements into scalable IRM solutions Align with project and program managers so IRM work fits into broader initiatives, timelines, and milestones. Support audit and assurance teams by ensuring the platform enables testing, evidence collection, and reporting needs. You’ll also have clear support around you: A ServiceNow Product Owner to set direction, prioritize the backlog, and remove roadblocks. ServiceNow Platform Team to build and enhance the platform based on your user stories and designs. Risk and compliance SMEs to validate that your process and data designs meet real-world regulatory and control expectations. PMO / project management support to provide structure for planning, governance, and communication.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years combined experience in project management, business analysis, and process improvement, including work in structured environments and with external vendors.
  • Risk & Compliance Background: 3+ years in GRC/IRM, risk management, or related disciplines, with strong knowledge of risk, controls, policies and standards, issues/findings, regulatory obligations, audits, and testing.
  • ServiceNow IRM Expertise: 2+ years hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM or ServiceNow GRC (implementation and/or BAU enhancements), with familiarity across key IRM modules and data structures.
  • Business Analysis & Documentation: Proven experience writing and managing user stories and requirements (ideally in Agile or hybrid environments), creating process maps, and producing clear documentation and test scenarios.
  • Data & Analysis Skills: Strong analytical skills using Excel or similar tools to work with risk registers, control libraries, and issue logs, including support for data migrations and reconciliations.
  • Education Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Risk/Compliance, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and technology teams to understand requirements and translate them into clear processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Analyze current-state processes, design streamlined future-state workflows, and document them using process maps and requirements
  • Identify and prioritize process pain points, translating them into practical enhancements and configuration changes.
  • Support ServiceNow IRM initiatives, including new module implementations, enhancements, and BAU changes
  • Help plan and validate releases by contributing to test scenarios, UAT, and configuration reviews
  • Prepare and deliver stakeholder communications, demos, and training to drive adoption
  • Refine and maintain IRM process, requirements, and configuration documentation so it stays current and reusable
  • Break larger initiatives into manageable increments and help shape and prioritize the IRM backlog
