About The Position

Position purpose Review, triage and resolve business applications and user needs. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: Identify and resolve project issues. Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner. Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty. Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved. Analyze complex business problems and determine. Gather data and analyze business and user needs. Conduct post-project evaluation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT and business application experience preferred.
  • 3+ of computer applications experience
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Project.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Understanding business functional areas
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient technical (computer) skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Self-motivated with initiative
  • Strong sense of ethics
  • Ability to manage conflict and resolve problems.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.
  • Technical software skills and experience: Rumba/AS400, MS Office, Win95, Win3.1, Word Perfect, Lotus 123, GroupWise (e-mail), and Faxserver.
  • System conversion experience.
  • Must be able to work with/train/support any level of employee with confidence, patience and understanding.
