Requirements

  • Experience, education, or training in coding computer applications.
  • Candidates must be service oriented, have strong interpersonal and analytical skills that include working directly with various levels of business and technical staff to determine sound technical solutions for business requirements.
  • Candidate must have strong technical, organization and planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Candidate must have the desire and ability to learn and learn quickly.
  • Candidate must be able to debug, test and document computer programs, write clear understandable program code, maintain, and modify existing computer applications, and work effectively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Java or other object-oriented programming languages and web development frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SQL databases.
  • Our system uses Java web technologies and SQL Server, but those candidates with knowledge or experience in other programming technologies are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior-level developers while consulting with clients on web development projects.
  • Use web application development tools and utilities as appropriate.
  • Design, develop, code, debug, test, document and maintain these projects.
  • Perform the functional and technical design and implementation in a large-scale IT environment including consideration of existing automated systems with considerable supervision.
  • Participate in the full range of software product development activities, including requirements gathering; analysis and definition; functional and technical design; coding and testing; implementation, and production support with limited supervision.
