NKHS is a Designated Agency contracted with the State of Vermont to provide the highest quality of service in the areas of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, children and youth with serious emotional disabilities, and adults with mental health and substance use challenges. We serve the populations of Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans counties through a wide variety of targeted programs for individuals of all ages. Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred, but equivalent experience and/or certification may be considered.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a similar role, using and maintaining computer network systems.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and assist staff with Help Desk requests
  • Provide technical support and problem resolution to end users at multiple sites.
  • Deliver training to end-users individually and in groups.
  • Perform equipment moves, repairs, adds and changes including end user equipment and network devices.
  • Perform PC hardware and software installation.
  • Maintain and enhance all aspects of the technical infrastructure including the development of LANs and WANs, Windows servers, Windows Operating Systems, Exchange and Workstations.
  • Maintain and create/delete user accounts and groups.
  • Perform daily and weekly backups on all servers.
  • Monitor and manage network performance.
