The IT Applications Trainer will report directly to the Vice President, IT Applications and will be responsible for the training program(s) and ongoing end user support for their respective application(s).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in working with multi-site operational and technical teams.
  • Good information technology acumen that is easily translated and communicated to business users.
  • Experience working with Infor M3, Salesforce and other lines of business applications that support the business is preferred.
  • General understanding of technology as it relates to servers, network, cloud, data warehouse, reporting and analytical tools.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with executives and managers, analyze the training and development needs to prioritize, develop, and deliver an aggressive training program focused on business process.
  • Leverage technology and modern approaches to help transform the learning and development experience for our people, including taking a skill driven approach to development and driving transformation through various learning approaches.
  • Develop and maintain training plans as required to assist with the implementation of new technologies.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development and/or coordination of content delivery, course scheduling/coordination, course education and certification management of system approved applications.
  • Create and prepare training materials, research the applications to be taught, conducting training sessions, and assessing trainees on their knowledge.
  • Develop needs assessments for End Users to ensure they are eligible for production access to system approved applications. Provide additional guidance or coaching to trainees who need it.
  • Support the development and crossing training of Process Improvement Specialists and/or IT Applications Trainers.
  • Establish and maintain a professional rapport with End Users and their managers.
  • Conduct application trainings by video conferencing and/or in-person to maintain/help develop training programs/scripts, training hand-outs, application help text and training videos covering the proper use of the software.
  • Assists with the management of the overall application training schedules for the organization.
  • Other functions required as assigned.
