About The Position

The IT Application Support Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day support of internal business systems and third-party applications, while also contributing to new implementations and system enhancements. This role requires a strong background in application support, development, and integration within an automated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to ensure system reliability and continuous improvement.  This position can be located in Cincinnati, OH or Stamford, CT.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and/or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT application support or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of application support methodologies, incident management, and IT service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Proficiency with XML, Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, and flat file integrations.
  • Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills, in person and remotely.
  • Ability to support a 24x7 manufacturing environment.
  • Abilit to travel as needed (approximately 25% of time).

  • Familiarity with financial reporting tools (Atlas, Birst, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Working knowledge of Power Automate.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for application support, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Work directly with end-users to identify, investigate, and resolve technical issues related to ERP and integrated systems.
  • Act as a liaison between internal development teams, external vendors, and business users to ensure effective communication and solution delivery.
  • Analyze complex problems and recommend optimal solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Document systems, processes, and configurations thoroughly for knowledge sharing and compliance.
  • Perform application configuration and research to enable new functionality and improve existing processes.
  • Participate in the software development lifecycle, supporting projects from initiation through deployment.
  • Monitor ETL processes and respond to alerts, including on-call support as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements in all support activities.
